The Trends in Enrollment Type by Race and Ethnicity Edsight looks at how the enrollment types (e.g. DCPS in-boundary, DCPS out of boundary, public charter, etc.) by race and ethnicity of the public school population have changed since SY13-14.
The Citywide Trends in Enrollment by Race/Ethnicity Edsight looks at how the race and ethnicity of the public school population has changed since SY13-14. Black students remain the majority but account for a small fraction of enrollment growth over this time.
The Formerly Closed DCPS Facilities Edsight looks at how closed DCPS schools are being used today. Of the 76 formerly closed DCPS school buildings owned by the city or public charter schools, 11 have reopened or will reopen as DCPS schools since 2013 and only 1 remains vacant.
