The Public Education Finance Reform Commission is tasked with studying, reporting on and recommending revisions to the Uniform Per Student Funding Formula with regard to improvements in equity, adequacy, affordability and transparency by January 31, 2012. A contract was awarded through a competitive process to Collaborative Communications request by the DC Office of Contacting and Procurement (OCP) for the support of the Commission's work in FY12. This includes convening and facilitating the Commission meetings, implementing a public engagement plan, developing a Commission website, providing briefings and status reports, preparing an Equity Report, delivering a final report with recommendations, and producing a briefing document of those recommendations.
