This Edsight examines available workforce training opportunities for openings in DC’s high-demand “Gateway” occupations that best support residents on a path toward upward economic mobility. In 2022, the District funded training to support 1,206 residents in building skills that would position them to pursue 6 out of the 19 available Gateway Jobs in the District.
