The Trends in Enrollment Type by Race and Ethnicity Edsight looks at how the enrollment types (e.g. DCPS in-boundary, DCPS out of boundary, public charter, etc.) by race and ethnicity of the public school population have changed since SY13-14. Black students are least likely to attend in-boundary DCPS schools in most wards. Approximately half of white and Asian students attend their in-boundary DCPS school. Public charter enrollment has increased for most racial/ethnic groups, except for Hispanic students.
