The Citywide Trends in Enrollment by Race/Ethnicity Edsight looks at how the race and ethnicity of the public school population has changed since SY13-14. Black students remain the majority but account for a small fraction of enrollment growth over this time. White students have driven enrollment at the elementary school level; Hispanic students have fueled growth at the secondary school level.
