Celebrate Education Week 2018 with Mayor Bowser at the launch of Learn24 – a new initiative to ensure children and youth have access to quality educational and enrichment activities beyond the regular school day. RSVP here.

Learn24 will support equitable access to high-quality programming before and after school, and during the summer.

The Learn24 website will include a tool for families to find opportunities in their community. Learning beyond the regular school day:

• Engages children and youth in meaningful and productive activities;
• Supports working families by providing quality learning opportunities and care for their child when parents or guardians are at work;
• Reduces youth violence by providing safe spaces with positive adult role models; and
• Provides opportunities for all our young people to discover the passions and interests.
