Military Interstate Children's Compact Commission (MIC3)
The Council of State Governments, in cooperation with the US Department of Defense, drafted the Military Interstate Children’s Compact to address some of the educational challenges transitioning children of military families face.
The DC Interstate Compact Council, facilitated by DME staff, is charged with enforcing the Military Interstate Compact and supporting children of military families who transition in and out of the District.
