(Washington, DC) – On Monday, December 14 at 9:30 am, Mayor Muriel Bowser will announce the appointment of a local business leader as the Chairperson of the Workforce Investment Council (WIC). The WIC is a private sector-led board responsible for advising the Mayor, Council, and District government on the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the District of Columbia's workforce development and job training system.
