Job Description for DC START Coordinator 

DUTIES

  • Coordinate implementation and expansion of DC START
  • Oversee DC START clinicians to ensure compliance with the project model
  • Coordinate and plan for specialized trainings/clinical in CCPT and CBT; provide routine, ongoing clinical supervision for DC START staff
  • Partner with OCTO to produce queries and reports from the DC START database, CHARI
  • Serve as liaison between DC START and local schools.
  • Work closely with other ICSIC staff to ensure coordination of implementation of all programs
  • Assist clinicians to ensure appropriate referrals are made and that the model is being implemented consistently and with a high degree of fidelity to the established model.  
  • Ensure smooth flow of data from ICSIC member agencies to DC START clinicians upon submission of a properly completed Consent and Waiver.
  • Supervise identification of partner agencies for ancillary services
  • Support ICSIC sustainability efforts

CREDENTIALS

LICSW valid in Washington, DC required

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Working knowledge of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT) preferred
  • 5 years of experience supervising clinicians
  • Experience working with school-based programs
  • Good communication and writing skills a must.
